About

Away from the set, I’ve harbored a (semi) secret passion for photography. For the past four years, many of my days off have looked like this: I head to my “studio,” a converted room in the basement of my apartment building in Ridgewood, New York, where I cut the hair of friends—or friends of friends. At the end of each haircut, I capture the hairstyle using a Big Shot Polaroid or a Deardorff 8×10 camera.

I’ve turned my studio into a darkroom, where I develop and print every photograph myself. These moments, captured at the end of a fresh cut, are special to me, and I’ve been collecting them over the years.

Through word of mouth, I’ve built a solid network of clients who share in this creative process with me.I enjoy getting to know the people who sit in my chair and always call the end of a fresh cut a “special moment.”
